22 years after it was first released, Leftfield's 'Leftism' is being remastered and released again with 11 brand-new remixes, one of which from Skream you can hear below.
The reissue, dubbed 'Leftism 22', will feature remastered versions of the album's original 11 tracks as well as 11 brand-new remixes from the likes of Hodge & Peverelist, Ben Sims, Vioski, Skream and more.
For Skream's remix, Oli Jones delivers an emotionally charged remix of the group's 'Open Up', which he flips into a propulsive cut of house that manages to keep a lot of original's magic whilst adding a fresh modern twist.
Speaking about the album's impact some 22 years on since its initial release, Leftfield's Neil Barnes said: "I appreciate that it means a lot to so many people. I'm really honoured and often deeply moved by all the amazing things that people say about the record.
"Having Matt Colton re-master the album was a real pleasure, and I realised that Paul and I had created something really special."
Alongside the release of 'Leftism 22', Neil Barnes will be performing the seminal album in full at 7 sold out show across the UK this May, culminating in a headline performance at Bestival, where he will close out the festival on the final day.
Check out Skream's remix below.
Leftfield's 'Leftism 22' will be released on Friday 27th May.
